Paulinho triumphs in Tour stage
CYCLING: Portuguese rider Sergio Paulinho won the 10th stage of the Tour de France as Andy Schleck maintained his lead in the overall classification.
Paulinho, of Team RadioShack, beat Caisse d’Epargne’s Vasili Kiriyenka in a two-way sprint finish. British hope Mark Cavendish finished ninth, at the head of the peloton, to add 12 points to his green jersey total. Yellow jersey holder Schleck stayed 41 seconds ahead of defending champion Alberto Contador as the top of the standings was unaffected.
