Dwyer to appeal eight-month ban
HORSE RACING: The 2006 Derby winner Martin Dwyer intends to appeal an eight-month ban imposed by stewards in India for allegedly preventing horse, Ice Age, from running on its merits. The 38-year-old was initially handed a 55-day suspension, but that has since been increased by the Royal Western India Turf Club. Dwyer’s ban is due to begin on 31 August.
