Cyber Monday 2015: Shoppers across the UK set to spend more than £3bn by Cyber Monday
By the time Cyber Monday comes to an end shoppers around the UK are expected to have spent over £3bn, as they clutch at online deals.
Analysts predict a total of £3.2bn to be spent by customers across the country this weekend – Amazon reported its biggest sales day ever in the UK yesterday, with 6m orders, according to the Press Association.

“What we are starting to see is Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Super Saturday all roll into one in a sales season that lasts several weeks in the run-up to Christmas,” Jon Copestake, of the Economist Intelligence Unit, told the Daily Telegraph.
Christopher North, managing director of Amazon.co.uk, said: "For the second year straight, customers in the UK have blown us away with their response to the many great deals on great products that we've made available for Black Friday."

Meanwhile, Argos had to quash rumours of an outage on its website, as John Lewis' website collapsed under the pressure of Black Friday's shopping frenzy.
