Bishopsgate: The City’s latest market, in pictures

City workers made the most of the sun yesterday, visiting the new market on Bishopsgate, under the shadow of the Heron Tower. 

 

The pop-up market comprised of a number of campers selling freshly cooked lunch to City workers; a selection of food and seats provided in the sun ensured there was a brisk trade over lunchtime. 

 

The market will run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer from 11:45 am until 2:15 pm. The initiative has been launched by Brookfield Property Partners who are also involved with the public art series Sculpture in the City.
