UK Oil and Gas receives consent to flow test at a well in Horse Hill
"Gatwick Gusher" UK Oil and Gas (Ukog) today announced that the UK's Oil and Gas Authority has granted consent for an extended flow test over three separate zones at a well in the Horse Hill site.
The Horse Hill 1 discovery well, drilled at the end of last year, is located on the northern side of the Weald Basin near Gatwick Airport, in which Ukog owns a 20.2 per cent stake.
"The extended test will provide the company with a very definitive start to the New Year. We look forward to safe and successful operations," Stephen Sanderson, executive chairman of Ukog, said.

Ukog hit the headlines in April when it claimed to have found billions of barrels oil at a well, which it has interest in, at Horse Hill near Gatwick.
However, it subsequently said that the oil in place "should not be considered as either contingent or prospective resources or reserves".
