Three things you didn’t know about…
Head of Private Banking, Metro Bank Kirsty MacArthur
1 Before joining the world of private banking, Kirsty spent a year working as a script writer for Children’s BBC. She worked on the Short Change programme which focused on kids’ consumer issues.
2 The most adventurous thing Kirsty has ever eaten is Fugu, the (potentially) poisonous pufferfish. Before she ate it she was made to sign a declaration stating that she understood the risks involved.
3 In her 20s Kirsty played on the Scottish national lacrosse team and travelled around Europe representing her country. She’s also climbed Kilimanjaro, and run the London marathon…and she’s a qualified personal trainer. Phew.
