Amazon figures lifted by North American sales April 23, 2015 AMAZON.COM reported higher-than-expected revenue in the first quarter as sales jumped in North America, the e-commerce giant’s biggest market. Starbucks results perked up by Japan buy April 23, 2015 STARBUCKS last night met forecasts with second-quarter net earnings of $495m, up from $427m a year ago.
