The merchant banking and operational risk management business has hired Catherine Grum as group head of family office services. She was most recently at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, where she was head of wealth advisory for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Keystone Law
The law firm has made two appointments. Jason Kallis joins its construction team from Plexus Law, where he was a partner. Tax and estate planning specialist John Pears joins the private client team from Shakespeares, where he was a partner.
Charteris Treasury Portfolio Managers
The asset management firm has recruited Tony Yousefian as a portfolio manager. Yousefian was previously at City Financial, where he managed the EFA OPM Fixed Interest fund and the EFA OPM Property Portfolio fund.
Montanaro
Mark Rogers has joined the asset management company as head of research. He has thirty years’ investment experience. Rogers spent the past five years as director of equity research at Fidelity Worldwide Investments. Prior to that, he was head of European and US equity research at Nomura Asset Management.
Berwin Leighton Paisner
The law firm has made two appointments. Naveen Vijh has been named head of its real estate finance team. He joined in 1997. Mark Richards will lead its projects and infrastructure team. Richards was made partner at the firm in 2006, and specialises in energy, major infrastructure, transport and defence.
Finisterre Capital
David Burnside has been appointed head of business development at the emerging market specialist. He was formerly at BlueBay Asset Management, where he was a partner and head of alternatives. Prior to that, Burnside was head of European institutional marketing at Financial Risk Management.

The planning consultancy has announced the appointment of Rebecca Lowe as a senior sustainability consultant in its sustainability practice. She joins from Capita Property & Infrastructure, where she was an energy and sustainability consultant.
