Theresa May’s cabinet reshuffle: Who’s in? Who’s out? Everything you need to know
Theresa May has announced the big positions in her cabinet today after taking helm as Britain's first female Prime Minister since Margaret Thatcher. She also created new positions to lead Britain's upcoming negotiations with the European Union.

David Davis appointed head of Brexit
Key Brexit campaigner David Davis has been made secretary of state for leaving the European Union. Details of the exact role of the Brexit department are yet to emerge.
Davis was the third Brexiter to be appointed to the cabinet, making May's top team equally balanced on the issue of the European Union.
Liam Fox appointed international trade minister
Fox has been given the new role of international trade minister. He ran against May for the Conservative leadership, but was eliminated in the first round of voting.
Michael Fallon remains defence secretary
Michael Fallon will remain defence secretary, Downing Street said today.
Amber Rudd takes May's old job
Former energy minister Amber Rudd has been appointed home secretary.
As she left 10 Downing Street, she told the awaiting press: "I am very pleased. I am very excited to get going."
Boris Johnson appointed foreign secretary
Former London mayor and Brexit campaigner Boris Johnson has been appointed foreign secretary, Downing Street said. Earlier this month, Johnson pulled out of Conservative leadership race.
Philip Hammond replaces George Osborne
In her first appointment after taking office, May named former foreign secretary Philip Hammond as Britain's finance minister.
George Osborne leaves the government
George Osborne, who had served as chancellor since 2010, left the government today – The Sun reported he was sacked.
Michael Gove dropped for Liz Truss
Education secretary Michael Gove has been sacked. It's rumoured that May thought people wouldn't be able to trust him after the Boris Johnson affair.
He has been replaced by former environment secretary Liz Truss.
Nicky Morgan replaced by Justine Greening
A supporter of Gove, Morgan is also out. She said she was "disappointed not to be continuing as education secretary and minister for women and equalities – two wonderful roles it's been a privilege to hold".
She is replaced by former secretary of state for international development Liz Truss.
Oliver Letwin out
Oliver Letwin. who was Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, and headed up the civil service Brexit unit, has also left his post.
John Whittingdale gone
John Whittingdale said that it was a privilege to serve as culture secretary, wishing his successor every success.
Jeremy Hunt retains health
Rumours earlier today had Jeremy Hunt stepping down, or being offered a new job in government, but he has retained his role as health secretary. "'Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated…' Thrilled to be back in the best job in government," he Tweeted.
Theresa Villiers can't take on new job offer
She says she was offered another job but didn't feel she could take it on. The Brexiteer who had the Northern Ireland brief is returning to the backbenches.

Baroness Evans of Bowes Park is named leader of parliament's second chamber, after being a peer for just two years.

Williams will become chief whip.

Formerly looking after transport, McLoughlin has become Party Chairman, replacing Lord Feldman.
