Revenues jump 15pc at Google
INTERNET giant Google has reported revenues of $18.1bn (£12bn) for the three months ended 31 December 2014, up 15 per cent from the $15.7bn recorded in the same period of 2013.
Google’s own sites generated 69 per cent of total revenues, while partner sites added 20 per cent, and revenues from the UK were $1.66bn. Paid clicks increased by 14 per cent compared to the final quarter of 2013, however the average cost-per-click dipped by about eight percent.
