Picnic of champions
AT bloomin’ last. It may have taken forever, but there’s finally warmth in the air and the weekend is expected to be lovely. The sunshine will have lots of us trotting off to the nearest park clutching blankets and picnic baskets, but we shouldn’t waste the occasion on the kind of basic fodder one can pick up on a 10-minute dash round the supermarket.
If we can only take our sunshine in brief snatches, it’s worth making the most of the best delicacies and picnic goodies available. Here are a few of the things we’ll be putting in our hamper this summer.
