Manchester City defender charged with betting misconduct by the FA
Manchester City centre-back Martin Demichelis has been charged for misconduct in relation to betting by the FA.
The Argentinean allegedly committed 12 breaches of FA betting rules in a week during football matches in January.

"It is alleged the player committed 12 breaches of FA Rule E8 concerning football matches between 22 January 2016 and 28 January 2016," read an FA statement.
He has until 5pm next Tuesday, 5 April, to respond to the charge.
The FA cited breaches of rule E8 which instruct players not to bet on any aspect of football competition nor instruct any other person to bet on the game and also bans players from advertising or promoting a betting company in a personal capacity.
