Italian business morale boost
Further Eurozone relief came from Italy yesterday, where business confidence edged upwards for November. The ISAE research body announced an index score of 101.6 for the month, a boost for the Italian manufacturing sector. The score was up from 100.1 recorded in October, considerably above the level expected by economists who had predicted a decline. The results follow similar surveys in Germany and Italy, which showed confidence increases in both countries earlier in the week.
