RAMSAY REOPENS PETRUS
Petrus, the Knightsbridge restaurant that under Marcus Wareing became the most prestigious venue in Gordon Ramsay’s empire after his own Hospital Road flagship, will re-open on 29 March. After Wareing and Ramsay’s public falling out last year, Wareing remained at the Berkeley hotel with his own eponymous restaurant, while Ramsay has moved the Petrus brand just across the road to a spot on mewsy Kinnerton Street. Ramsay protégé Sean Burbidge is the new head chef, serving a modern European menu, while the famous wine cellar will be open and on show in the centre of the dining room. From 1 March you can call 020 7592 1609 to book, or 020 7592 1373 to reserve the prestigious Chef’s Table.
