Jamie Warren has been appointed head of legal at the independent multi-employer trust. He joins from Capgemini, where he was senior legal counsel. He has also worked as a senior solicitor at Esure Insurance, having qualified at law firm Nabarro.
Liberum
The investment bank has appointed Anna Hartropp to its banking team. Hartropp brings nine years of experience from Marks & Spencer, Cookson and Laird. Prior to that, she held positions in the Conservative Party, advising Lord Saatchi and home secretary Theresa May.
Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management
Nitesh Mistry has joined the wealth management organisation to oversee the development of its debt investment business in Europe. Mistry was previously a director at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ.
Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management
James Brooks has been hired as business distribution director. He joins the wealth management group from Brewin Dolphin, where he was head of business distribution for nine years. Prior to that, he was at Gerrard Investment Management.
Stanley Gibbons
George Bailey has been announced as chairman of Dreweatts & Bloomsbury Auctions, the art antiques auctions subsidiary of the collecting specialists. Bailey has previously worked at Sotheby’s, and last year launched the Auction Room, an online only auction portal.
Towers Watson
Peter Rowles has been appointed head of the professional services company’s retirement practice for the UK and Ireland. Rowles joined the firm in 1987, previously leading its Reigate-based retirement consultancy team.
Clyde & Co
Jonathan Brown has joined the law firm’s professional and commercial disputes team in London. Brown joins from DWF Fishburns, and has 12 years’ experience at City firms.
Aviate Global
The institutional equity brokerage has hired Gerard Walsh as chief business officer – a newly created role. Walsh joins from Schroders, where he was head of client operations. He has worked previously for Telewest Communications, Accenture and Deloitte.
