Analyst Views: Did British Land perform in line with your expectations?
JOHN CAHILL | ORIEL SECURITIES
Good performance over the third quarter, with rents on new lettings and renewals improving in both London and the regions. Development completions are due into favourable market conditions, and with a dividend yield ahead of peers, British Land remains our preferred large exposure to the London market.
BART GYSENS | MORGAN STANLEY
British Land’s shares have performed strongly recently and are no longer trading at a discount to latest reported NAV (net asset value). As such, it is increasingly well-understood that the stock offers an attractive play on improving UK property fundamentals with accelerating NAV growth.
MICHAEL BURT | LIBERUM
British Land has produced another strong quarter of leasing data with growth in occupancy, lettings five per cent ahead of ERV (estimated rental value), substantial footfall outperformance and de minimis retail administrations… we remain buyers.
