Wenger looks to Arsenal’s top guns to build up a winning run
ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger has vowed to field his strongest line-up against Fenerbahce tonight in a bid to record a third straight victory, even though his side hold a 3-0 lead from the first leg and face a crunch north London derby this Sunday.
The Gunners only need to avoid a heavy defeat to progress into Thursday afternoon’s Champions League group stage draw, yet Wenger is determined to win again.
“We had two good games recently and want just to continue that run,” said Wenger, adding that the team will be “95 per cent” the same as against Fulham but that Jack Wilshere will play. “[We will] think to win the game without thinking about the result of the first game.”
