Thanks to all the generous donors to our appeal so far
WE ARE just three days into our first-ever City A.M. Christmas appeal and we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our readers so far.
Donations have been pouring in via website and text and we are delighted to announce that we have reached a grand total of £87,567.75 by the end of our second day of fundraising.
Such a huge response is a great achievement and we are very pleased that so many of you are choosing to support our charity of choice, Opportunity International, and its vital work in southern Malawi.
Every contribution can make a difference and through our match funding agreement, all donations from UK individuals will be matched by the Government pound for pound.
Our online auction is also open and ready to take your bids for exclusive and unmissable gifts.
Visit www.cityam.com/auction for the chance to play 18 holes of golf with Sam Torrance (pictured, top), former captain of the European Ryder Cup team. Football fans can join Frank Dalleres, City A.M.’s sports editor, to watch Arsenal play Queens Park Rangers on New Year’s Eve – or for polo lovers, there is lunch at the Hurlingham Club followed by tickets to Polo in the Park in June next year.
