  • Thirteen years later, workers return to World Trade Center

    ONE WORLD Trade Center opened for business yesterday, more than 13 years after the original towers were destroyed in the 11 September attacks. The 104-storey building is 541 metres tall, making it the tallest skyscraper in the western hemisphere. It is currently 60 per cent leased. Workers at publisher Conde Nast have started moving in.

The singer requested her work be removed following a dispute over her latest album, the Swedish company said. Swift had withheld the album from Spotify, a move which helped maximise full-price CD and iTunes download sales.

    SPORTS Direct owner Mike Ashley tightened his grip on Glasgow Rangers yesterday after former Newcastle United managing director Derek Llambias was officially appointed as a non-executive director at the club. Ashley, who owns Newcastle, made a £2m loan to Rangers last week. Llambias was at Newcastle between 2008 and 2013.
