US REGULATORS were last night in discussions with Nasdaq following outage in the same system that caused the exchange to shut down for three hours last month. Yesterday’s outage lasted six minutes and halted trading in a selection of shares. But it was enought to spook investors, who briefly pushed down the exchange operator’s change. The Securities and Exchange Commission said they were “monitoring developments” and would hold a meeting later this month.
