    BOXING: Britain’s Carl Froch was hospitalised for several hours ahead of his super-middleweight title defence against Glen Johnson tonight. The Nottingham fighter was admitted with an eardrum problem but, following treatment to clear the area, said he felt “in tip-top shape and ready for business” in the Super Six semi-final.
