    CRICKET: Australia gained an early advantage in the women’s Ashes as Sarah Elliott hit an unbeaten 95 on the first day of the Test at Wormsley. The tourists closed on 243-3 with Jess Cameron backing up Elliott with a 50. The Ashes is contested over one Test, three one day internationals and three Twenty20 ties.
