Kidney plots St Patrick’s Day party at HQ
IRELAND head coach Declan insists his side are ready to make it a St Patrick’s Day to remember for their travelling fans at Twickenham on Saturday.
Hapless Scotland were put to the sword at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday as Ireland made light of skipper Paul O’Connell’s absence, running in four tries in a convincing 32-14 win.
Ireland conclude their Six Nations campaign against an English side still hoping to complete a successful defence but Kidney is confident his charges are capable of spoiling the party.
He said: “We will enjoy beating Scotland but we can’t afford to get too carried away because we know we have to be in Twickenham on St Patrick’s Day.”
