Future considers sale of its struggling US business
MAGAZINE publisher Future is considering radical strategic options for its US business – which could include a possible sale – with torrid trading there expected to drag full year revenues down six per cent.
The specialist publisher, which prints titles on activities including video games and photography, expects sales in its core UK market to drop two per cent.
The business, run by chief executive Stevie Spring, has been restructuring its operations to rely less heavily on print media in favour of its successful web-based business.
Future, which has lost more than 60 per cent of its value in the last six months, was trading flat yesterday.
