Cook doesn’t need to talk about Kevin

ALL EYES were on England cricket captain Alastair Cook at the Unibet Long Sporting Lunch, hosted by City A.M. and MBN events at Chiswell St Brewery on Friday.
Attempts to get him to talk about sacked batsman Kevin Pietersen were in vain, but luckily ex-England rugby union star Brian Moore was on hand to give his tuppence worth. “You might not be able to say anything but I can,” said the BBC Sport presenter.
He went on to be less than complimentary about Pietersen’s ethics and team commitment before taking a pot shot at his “friend” Piers Morgan. “Morgan will probably have him on his show after the legal silence…Actually, does Piers Morgan even still have a job?!” Cue some appreciative guffaws from the audience, which included lunchers from St James’ Place, Brewin Dolphin and Duff and Phelps.
