SECURITY experts at Blackstone Consultancy have analysed the City’s top venues to find the best spots for those wanting to host clandestine meetings with potential employers, recruitment consultants, or with other parties that value discretion. They then spilled the beans to The Capitalist.
One Lombard was praised for its windowless private room and the option to use the back door, the research commissioned by Jobandtalent found. Duck & Waffle in the Heron Tower has the advantage of 24-hour opening for a late-night rendezvous, while the acoustics at Hawksmoor are said to be perfect for secret briefings. Mint Leaf Lounge offers a suitably low-lit venue, and the Jamaica Wine House on Cornhill is noisy enough to mask sensitive talks. Just don’t all rush at once.
