APCIMS
Ian Cornwall has been appointed as director of regulation at the Association of Private Client Investment Managers and Stockbrokers. Cornwall, who has more than 20 years’ experience as a risk and compliance professional, four of which were spent as head of UK regulation for APCIMS, will work with the government to develop regulation for the sector. He moves to APCIMS from Bovill Limited, where he held a consultancy position.
Nikko AM
The Asian investment management company has appointed Violet Pacileo as assistant director of product management in the firm’s London office, responsible for representing the Asia-based portfolio management teams in Europe. Prior to joining Nikko AM, Pacileo was assistant portfolio manager on the Japan desk at Aberdeen Asset Management in Tokyo.

Robert Bridson has joined PwC’s financial services tax business as a partner. He joins from Deloitte, where he advised financial institutions on the US Qualified Intermediary regime and the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act.

Andrew McCaffery has been appointed as head of institutional hedge funds at Aberdeen Asset Management, where he will oversee more than £4bn of assets. McCaffery joins from BlueCrest, where he was a founding member of the Alignment Investors division.
Cushman & Wakefield
The global property consultant has recruited James Crisp as a partner in its Corporate Occupier & Investor Services EMEA team. Crisp was formerly a director at Capita Symonds, where he was responsible for the firm’s UK and European occupier services.
BNY Mellon
Bank of New York Mellon has strengthened its senior management with the appointment of Jonathan Bowler, Chris Coleman and Laure Scala to support the company’s Derivatives360 derivative management scheme. Bowler will serve as business manager for the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions, Coleman will represent North America and Latin America, and Scala becomes chief administrative officer.

Jens Bjorheim has been appointed as sales director for the Nordic region and Switzerland of RAM, the investment management business of integrated investments firm Renaissance Group.
