Boisdale Life: Canary Wharf sees the first big bash of a post-pandemic summer
Journalists, jazz musicians and bon viveurs joined forces at the Boisdale Life Editor’s Lunch yesterday, in what was surely one of the capital’s first big bashes as we emerge from pandemic restrictions.
The restaurant’s magazine has become a staple of luxury journalism in recent years and the Editor’s Lunch saw 170 of Boisdale’s connections tuck into a three-course meal – and celebrate the winners with a drop of Maison Mirabeau’s finest rosé.
“Boisdale Life captures how we roll,” said Editor in Chief and founder Ranald Macdonald. “I don’t mean to sound pretentious, but the relationship between Boisdale and its customers is founded on a philosophy, one that is strongly libertarian and free-thinking. Our customers don’t photograph food; they celebrate the art of dining with conversation and repartee.”
