BA strike drags on another day
BRITISH Airways dragged through its fourth day of a five day strike yesterday, with negotiators still failing to find common ground.
Arbitration body Acas said: “More talks took place in London yesterday between BA and Unite under the auspices of Acas with the assistance of the TUC. The talks were adjourned late last night and Acas will be in contact with both parties to arrange a future meeting date.”
The strike is the second of three planned walkouts by BA cabin crew. The next is due to start on Saturday, with BA saying it is prepared.
