‘Yellow vest’ protesters storm office of attorney general Geoffrey Cox
A number of "yellow vest" protesters have stormed the office of the attorney general, Geoffrey Cox, demanding he be removed from his post.
In a live video posted on Facebook, a group of people crowded around his office in Westminster where they were greeted by police who told them they were committing an offence by trespassing.
One protester said: "We are peaceful. The only ones who aren't are you lot under public masters."
Another said: "I have been told I will be arrested if I don't vacate this spot" and attempted to usher the rest of his protesters to leave the building to avoid arrest.
The group takes its name from "yellow vest" protester James Goddard, who has pleaded not guilty to harassing MP Anna Soubry by calling her a "Nazi" and "traitor" outside parliament last month.
The protesters appeared to be part of a Facebook group that claims the deaths of three boys in a hit and run last year was a terrorist attack that is being covered up by the government.
