BT
Dan Fitz has been appointed company secretary of BT Group. He is currently group general counsel, and replaces Andrew Parker. Fitz has also previously served as group general counsel at Misys, and held the same position at Cable & Wireless.
BlueBay Asset Management
Erich Gerth has been appointed global head of business development at the asset management firm. He joins from Aviva Investors, where he was chief executive of global business development and a member of its executive committee. Gerth also previously spent six years at Janus Capital as chief executive of Janus Capital International.
Fitch Ratings
The ratings agency has appointed Debbie Hartley to lead its global investor development team. She was most recently head of global investor marketing at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Hartley has also held roles at Citigroup Alternative Investments, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley.
BNY Mellon
Marina Lewin has been appointed head of sales for the investment management firm’s asset servicing business. She joined BNY Mellon in 2000, and previously held roles at JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank.
Parmenion Fund Research
The investment services provider has announced two senior appointments. Emily Booth joins as senior investment manager from Sun Life Financial of Canada. She has also worked for Goldman Sachs, JBWere and Deutsche Asset Management. Peter Dalgliesh joins as investment director from F&C Asset Management. He has also held roles at Gartmore and Jupiter Asset Management.
DLA Piper
The law firm has announced the appointment of Michael Bosco as a partner in its corporate team. He will lead DLA Piper’s equity capital markets practice in Italy. Bosco joins from Shearman & Sterling, where he has spent the whole of his career.
