VW’s sales in November stall behind rivals
Volkswagen has fallen into last place as the emissions scandal continues to weigh on the German car maker.
Sales increased by just 4.1 per cent last month, compared to a year earlier, the smallest growth of any car maker in Europe and compared to a rise of almost 14 per cent overall.

That means VW's market share fell to 24.3 per cent from 26.6 per cent in November 2014, although it remains the largest car brand in Europe, according to the latest figures from the European Automakers Association (ACEA).
The majority of major rival car makers such as Peugeot, Renault and Ford experienced a double digit rise.
Meanwhile, car sales in the UK grew 3.8 per cent year-on-year, recovering from a fall in October, with 178,876 new cars registered in November.
