Tinie Tempah gets suited up by the City’s Museum of London for London Collections: Men
You may not know it, because it certainly isn’t as big as London Fashion Week (yet), but the menswear equivalent London Collections: Men strides in on Friday with a swathe of menswear shows. To celebrate, the City’s Museum of London has decided to put its tweed to good use. It’s making a suit for sartorial songster Tinie Tempah.
The suit has been designed by Savile Row tailors, Norton & Sons and is made using the museum’s “London Tweed” designed by the museum and inspired by Sherlock Holmes.
Tweedy Tempah doesn’t get to keep his new suit for long though: as soon as he’s worn it on the front rows, he’s handing it over to become part of the museum’s fashion collection. “Definitely a tick on the bucket list. It will be hard to let the suit go, though!” said Tempah. No doubt.
