Tickets are being accepted on London buses and Greater Anglia services and on TfL Rail between Shenfield and Liverpool Street.
Severe delays have also hit the London Overground after a traspasser on the track at denmark Hill.
Services are affected between Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction, New Cross, Crystal Palace and West Croydon.
It comes after a man was sent to hospital with a broken shoulder and head injury after being attacked at Stratford station this morning, reportedly with a hammer.
