Town Centre Securities parks itself in London
LEEDS-based property investor Town Centre Securities has snapped up a listed building on Duke Street in the West End for £3.2m to use as an office for its fast-growing car park business.
CitiPark, which owns more than 5,000 parking spaces, is expanding its presence in the south and bought two car parks in London in the past six months – one at Clipstone Street and the other in Ilford. The Duke Street building will be its first regional office outside Leeds.
Separately, Town Centre Securities, which owns over 1.2m square feet of office and retail property across the UK, said its net asset value per share rose to 326p in the six months to 31 December from 283p in 2013.
