There’s a new £260m fund eyeing UK tech startups
UK-based venture capital fund Scottish Equity Partners has raised £260m for a new fund to invest in high growth tech companies in the UK and Europe.
Previous investments include fashion site Matches.com, unicorn startup Skyscanner and language app Babbel.

The latest fund, SEP V, is eyeing growth stage companies to invest up to £20m.

The fund takes total funds under management past £1bn. Some 90 per cent of investors in SEP V were investors in previous funds. UK investors made up around 40 per cent of the fund, with 60 per cent from Europe and the US.
