The INSIDER
Day four and the liver and kidneys are in need of a good rest, but they will have to do with milk thistle and a good glug of olive oil and water. We’ve had a few winners but also some losers. It’s time to be prudent and consolidate the betting accounts.
The first race on the card this afternoon could easily go the way of the Americans with Aegean proving to be another two-year-old superstar from the other side of the Atlantic but I’m going to have a small each way bet on ABOVE LIMITS to try and gain respect for the home-grown juvenile fillies. The Coronation Stakes looks a cracking prospect. Almost all the runners could have a squeak in this Group 1 contest. Ghanaati was awesome on the 1000 Guineas but I have this intuition that says don’t rule out RAINBOW VIEW (e/w). In the Queen’s Vase over two miles I will be backing former Jump jockey Jim Crowley to bring back the bacon on POPMURPHY.
