Tendulkar set for final Test
TEST cricket’s highest-ever run scorer Sachin Tendulkar will call time on his “dream” India career next month.
The 41-year-old, who has scored 15,837 runs and is the only player to have scored 100 centuries in international cricket, will make his 200th and final Test appearance at home to West Indies.
And Tendulkar admits it will be difficult to give up his dream job.
“All my life I have had a dream of playing cricket for India,” said the batsman known as the “Little Master”, who spent a season with Yorkshire in 1992.
“I have been living this dream every day for the last 24 years. It’s hard for me to imagine a life without playing cricket.”
