Ryanair pilots have begun their three-day strike today, but the airline said it is still operating a normal schedule.
Ryanair said it did not expected any strike-related disruption to its flights today, although it has suffered knock-on effects from air traffic control problems that began in France yesterday.
Ryanair pilots who are members of the British Airline Pilots’ Association (Balpa) are striking over issues such as pensions, licence insurance, maternity benefit, allowances and pay structures at the airline.
The strike is scheduled to end of 4 September.
British Airways pilots who are also members of Balpa are also due to to strike on 9, 10 and 27 September over a dispute about pay.
