Political Reporter Fonie Mitsopoulou is the political reporter at City AM. Previously, Fonie was an energy and climate reporter at POLITICO. Before becoming a journalist, Fonie worked on developing policy at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, and was an editorial assistant at Penguin Press. Fonie grew up in Greece, before studying History and Politics at the University of Oxford, and then going on to learn some Arabic in Cairo. She speaks Greek, French, and some Arabic and Spanish.
