WINTER HAND CLINIC
John Lewis Oxford Street has teamed up with luxury skincare brand Elemis to launch free Winter Hand Clinics to run throughout November and into December in-store. The bespoke consultations will be led by an expert Elemis skin therapist who will give customers top tips and advice on how to protect their hands from the harsh effects of wintry weather – products prescribed will be suitable for your skin type and lifestyle. Customers will also be given a 15 min hand and arm massage in the Elemis SpaPod in the Intelligence chair. To book in for a Winter Hand Clinic, call the Elemis beauty counter at John Lewis Oxford Street on: 020 3073 0681.
A RUM CELEBRATION
The colder weather this week may suggest winter is closing in but it’ll still be summer at Kensington Olympia this weekend where the fourth UK RumFest is taking place. Afficionados who know their Jamican Director’s Choice from their Appleton Estate Extra and their daiquiris from their rum punches – as well as those willing to learn for themselves – will be able to taste bottligns from Antigua to Venezuela via numerous tropical destinations, and see some of the world’s leading mixologists at work. Then chill out in the Bacardi Dominoes and Daiquiri zone, and lap up live music from the tropics.
Saturday and Sunday, Kenstington Olympia 2, Hammersmith Rd, W14 8UK. rumfest.co.uk.
