New research debunks tired myths about women at work
NEW RESEARCH has debunked a number of myths about the differences between men and women in the workplace.
The findings, which were launched at an event in London yesterday, appears to do away with the idea that women are less ambitious than men and therefore seek less senior positions.
Over 450,000 employees from across the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 have so far been surveyed and researchers found that there has been a positive shift in the way female leaders are viewed at board level.
Helena Morrissey, founder of The 30% Club, which carried out the research with KPMG and psychology consultancy YSC said: “This new research gives more depth to the intuitive argument that balanced teams perform better, and gives companies specific actionable ideas to improve their management of all talent – regardless of gender.”
