LED firm LPA lights up sales
LED lighting maker LPA Group yesterday said it was playing “catch up” after half year revenues fell 7.8 per cent, but kept a bullish outlook for the rest of the year.
The group, which makes lights for the transport industry, said pre-tax profits rose to £186,000 thanks to lower financing costs despite the dip in revenue. It also gave more details of a busy order book for the rest of the year, including a £7m contract for the Intercity Express Programme and another £2.5m for two Aerospace programmes.
“We expect to close the year with an order book at record high levels,” chairman Michael Rusch said.
