Leaving London? A third of Londoners would be better off living elsewhere
A third of Londoners believe they would be better off living elsewhere, new research reveals, following a sudden spate of articles about leaving the capital.
Asked if they would probably be better off somewhere else, or if they wouldn't really want to be anywhere else, 36 per cent of 1,000 people surveyed agreed elsewhere would be better than London.
Those living in west London had the highest number of people who thought they would be better off elsewhere, and was the only location in which they outnumbered residents who thought they were best off staying.
Meanwhile, those living in central London locations were the most content to stay in the city.
The majority of people said they found it stressful living in London, while a huge proportion admitted it was expensive living in the capital, one of the main reasons for flight according to YouGov.
