GOODWIN BACK ON HOME TURF
SIR Fred Goodwin has been pictured strolling the streets near his £3m Edinburgh home for the first time since he fled the country for the South of France amid a blaze of public hatred earlier this year.
City A.M. revealed last week that the disgraced former Royal Bank of Scotland chief executive is already looking for new business roles as he attempts to “get back into society”. He is particularly interested in re-entering the charity sector, after his six-year term as chairman of the Prince’s Trust ended last month.
Goodwin has not been seen in the UK since before his house was attacked in March by vandals protesting against his £703,000-a-year RBS pension pot, part of which he has now surrendered.
His family are expected to rejoin him in Scotland later this week in time for the start of the school term.
