Eddie Jones dangles tour carrot in front of eight England training camp newcomers
England head coach Eddie Jones insists there is still time to gatecrash his squad for the summer tour to Australia after summoning eight uncapped players to a 26-man training camp this month.
They include New Zealand-born Northampton back-row Teimana Harrison, Harlequins prop Kyle Sinckler, Bath lock Charlie Ewels and London Irish wing Alex Lewington.
Sale pair Mike Haley and Tommy Taylor, Bath’s Ollie Devoto and Newcastle’s Micky Young are the other untried players set to assemble in Brighton on 17 May for a three-day camp.

Mercurial fly-half Danny Cipriani is also in the party, which does not include Saracens, Exeter, Wasps or Leicester stars still involved in the play-offs.
Grand Slam winners England host Wales on 29 May before jetting south for a three-Test expedition in Jones’s homeland.
“Tour places are still up for grabs, and I expect the players in this camp – as well as those involved in the play-offs – to continue to make their case for selection,” he said.
“We know the speed of the game in Australia will be considerably higher than the Six Nations, so this short camp, as well as the preparation time ahead of Wales, is going to be vital to our progression.”
