WSP Group
WSP Environment and Energy, part of the FTSE 250-listed WSP Group, has hired Karen McAllister as director of the environmental planning division in London. McAllister is a former director of RPS, prior to which she was a director at the Town Planning Consultancy, which was acquired by RPS in 2001. Recent projects include the detailed applications for the Olympic Athletes Village, and the environmental statement for redevelopment of the landholdings around Wembley Stadium.
M&G Investments
M&G has appointed Alex Jeffrey as the new chief executive of Prupim, its real estate fund management business, effective from July, when Prupim’s managing director Martin Moore will become chairman. Jeffrey joins from MGPA, the private equity real estate investment advisory business, where he was global chief investment officer, based in Singapore.

Neal Best has been appointed as senior research consultant, retail in the European research team. Best joins from J Sainsbury, where he was a senior location planner, following roles at Dixons and Savills.
Rockpool Investments
Nicola Horlick, the chief executive of Bramdean Asset Management, has joined 3i alumni Gary Robins and Matt Taylor to launch the investment business Rockpool Investments. The firm will be jointly managed by Robins, most recently CEO of Hotbed, and Taylor, senior partner at Foresight Group, with Horlick as chairman.

Mandy Gradden has been appointed as a non-executive director of the information management solutions business. Gradden is CFO at retail technology company Torex and the former finance director at Detica.
Addleshaw Goddard
Dispute resolution expert Mark Pring has joined the law firm’s litigation group as a partner. Goddard moves from US law firm Chadbourne & Parke, where he was a partner specialising in high-value domestic and cross-border insurance and reinsurance disputes.
Bracewell Law
Gareth Pope has joined the law firm’s commercial litigation team. He joins from Mayer Brown International, and has previously worked at Joelson Wilson and Zurich Professional.
Plus Markets Group
Gavin Bridge has been hired to lead business development at Plus Derivatives Exchange. Bridge moves from Icap Energy, where he worked on renewable energy, emissions markets and oil derivatives.
