The private bank has appointed Massimo Luca Hilber to its UK management team as head of relationship management. He has over 32 years’ experience in wealth management, and joins from Aris Primepartners,having previously worked at Marcuard Asia, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse.
Atom Bank
The challenger bank has appointed Paul Hanks as chief technology officer. He has delivered IT changes at several large European banks, and most recently worked at Steria, where he provided consultancy to UK banks.
Hassium Asset Management
Sir David Arculus has been appointed chairman and partner at the wealth management boutique. He is currently a director of Pearson, and was previously group managing director of EMAP. Arculus is also a former chairman of Severn Trent and O2.
Octopus
The venture capital investor has appointed Chris Wade as strategic adviser. He is currently an adviser to UK Trade and Investment on venture capital matters and a partner at Entrepreneur First, the accelerator programme.
Core-Asset Consulting
The recruitment company has appointed Oscar Silberberg as a recruitment consultant for investment management. He has previously held roles at Aviva Investors, where he was most recently sales and client relationship manager.
Exotix
Hasnain Malik has been appointed head of frontier markets strategy at the specialist merchant bank. He joins from Frontier Alpha, a research provider he founded in 2013. Malik previously spent 15 years at Citi, as a managing director in investment research.
Asset Match
The private company shares marketplace has appointed Robert Winterton as head of sales. He has over 25 years’ experience in wholesale and institutional markets, and previously held roles at LBBW, BZW, and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Sberbank Investment Research
Tom Levinson has been appointed FX and rates chief strategist in Sberbank CIB’s research division. He joins from ING Financial Markets, where he was a director in its FX strategy division.
