KPMG
The professional services firm has announced the appointment of Sean Randall as head of its UK stamp taxes group. Randall spent the past eight years at Deloitte, where he specialised in stamp taxes.
JP Morgan Private Bank
Antoine Massoud has joined the private bank as a senior banker in its Middle East banking team. He was most recently at Goldman Sachs Bank in Geneva, where he was a private banker focusing on ultra high net worth clients in the Middle East. Prior to that, he was an investment research analyst at Axa Investment Managers in Paris.
GAIN Capital
The online trading services company has recruited Jason Emerson as chief financial officer. Emerson has previously held financial and operational positions at Instinet, Merrill Lynch and PwC.
Altius Associates
The wealth management firm has hired Peter Pfister as a partner and head of Asia-Pacific. Pfister joins from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of Asia-Pacific in its private equity division. Prior to that, he was a vice president at LGT Capital Partners in Switzerland.
EC Harris
Two former partners have returned to the built asset consultancy. Gary Ashton returns as a partner in its private residential sector, following two years with Grosvenor Estates. Andy Gentry has re-joined following 18 months at Wates Construction.
B Capital
The investment firm has recruited Omar Tarbush as regional head for the Middle East. He has over 17 years’ experience in asset management.
Hamptons International
The property company has made two hires to its land team. John Campbell has been appointed land manager. He has over 30 years’ property and land experience, and joins from Unicoin Homes Group, where he was land director. Henry Chapman joins as an associate from St George West London.
Gulfsands Petroleum
The oil and gas exploration company has appointed Alan Cutler as director of finance and administration on its board. He joined the company in June as head of finance and administration from Setanta Energy, where he was chief financial officer.
