CENSUS 2011 REVEALS GROWING, AGEING POPULATION
LONDON’S population grew at a far faster rate than in any other part of England or Wales across the most recent decade measured by the Census, the Office for National Statistics revealed yesterday. In the capital the population expanded by 12 per cent, compared to an average of seven per cent across all of England and Wales.
